Spa-Med-Holiday was founded in 2007 by Cecile Billiet, a pioneer for medical tourism and wellness vacations in Guatemala. Cecile is a Director of Guatemala's Health & Wellness Tourism Commission at Agexport (Guatemala's Exporters Association).
The ITC (International Trade Center, a joint organization of the United Nations and of the World Trade Organization) has selected her company as a model in sustainable development regarding the outsourcing of services by developing countries.
